Leisure:+
City Life

Dubai is the second largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates and has most definitely earned itself a world-famous reputation; deservedly so. It offers visitors a comprehensive entertainment package and iconic architecture which includes the world's tallest building, the world's largest fountain, world-class shopping and the world's most lavish hotels, such as the first seven-star hotel on the planet, Burj Al Arab. It's a city of 'world-bests' and if you add to that its pearly-white beaches, man-made islands, intriguing souks and sun-drenched sky, it also becomes one of the world's best cities.

Family

In addition to dedicated programmes catering for children from 3 years old, including Atlantis Kids Club (for 3 to 12-year-olds) and Club Rush (teenagers from 13 to 18 years old) there's the Aquaventure Waterpark and Dolphin Bay & The Lost Chambers Aquarium:

AQUAVENTURE WATERPARK Spanning over forty-two acres of Atlantis, The Palm resort, Aquaventure Waterpark is a must-do destination while you’re in Dubai, especially if you have excitable youngsters in tow. There are plenty of activities here to keep families amused for days, including river rides and a children’s play area with interactive climbing frames, rope bridges and waterslides. The multi-million dollar development of Aquaventure Waterpark includes thrilling new water rides, the 40-metre-high Tower of Poseidon, the world’s first twin racing tube rides and the longest zip-line circuit in the Middle East. Opportunities to interact with colourful tropical fish and rays are possible on an underwater Shark Safari, using specially designed helmets, while snorkelling and scuba-diving in Ambassador Lagoon, along with hand-feeding Cownose Rays in Shark Lagoon, are additional options. The centrepiece of the waterpark is, undoubtedly, The Ziggurat, with an almost vertical sixty-one-metre slide, The Leap of Faith, that propels those brave enough into a shark and ray-filled lagoon. In fact, there’s no need to worry, as your safety is assured by the clear acrylic tube that surrounds you after you’ve reached water level – in a mere second! Elsewhere in the park, the Master Blaster Water Coasters will carry you along on jets of water through dark tunnels, eventually releasing you into the relative serenity of the waterpark’s river, but if the adrenaline-fuelled excitement that these rides and activities provide doesn’t appeal, there’s always the sedentary option of sunbathing on the waterpark’s private, seven-hundred-metre sandy beach to entice you – a unique beach experience.

DOLPHIN BAY & THE LOST CHAMBERS AQUARIUM A sophisticated dolphin habitat comprising three huge lagoons that allows day visitors and resort guests to interact with these gentle creatures in a tropical setting specifically designed to mimic the dolphins’ natural habitat. There is a range of experiences to enjoy, from deep-water swimming and scuba-diving (for certified divers) with the dolphins, to encountering the dolphins in shallow water or observing and photographing them from Dolphin Bay Beach. Additionally, there are education programmes for youngsters to learn more about these beautiful aquatic mammals. The experiences include time to check-in and change, a fifteen-minute orientation with a Marine Mammal Specialist, complimentary soft drinks and bottled water, plus same-day admission to Aquaventure Waterpark. Due to its extreme popularity, booking in advance is highly recommended and we would be delighted to organise this for you – just get in touch with your Travel Consultant and we’ll take care of all the arrangements. While at Atlantis, The Palm you may also enjoy visiting The Lost Chambers Aquarium, styled on the ancient civilisation of Atlantis, which houses over 65,000 marine animals (including eels, seahorses, piranhas and tropical fish), twenty marine life exhibits and a touch tank. There is also an interactive Aquatheatre show and Marine Educators who can take you on a tour of the aquarium and teach you more about the legend of Atlantis.

Health & Fitness

ShuiQui Spa at Atlantis, The Palm is, quite simply, superb, incorporating a comprehensive collection of spa treatments, brands, products and expertise. With twenty-seven treatment rooms, a luxury pool-facing fitness suite and the ShuiQui hair salon, ShuiQui Spa offers every resource imaginable to pamper, polish and perfect.

Choose treatments from a world-renowned spa menu, such as Shiseido body rituals, Clarins facials and Bastien Gonzalez foot treatments with remedies including deep-tissue massage, Japanese scalp and shoulder massage and aromatherapy.

Japanese bathing ceremonies involve fragrant Japanese hydrotherapy, while the Arabian influence includes the use of Frankincense, almond oil and black mud fortified with minerals. New-age spa rituals include the popular Ear Candles and Four Hands Abyangam - as the name suggests, this involves the hands of two therapies for twice the amount of indulgence.

In Addition

All prices include unlimited complimentary access to Aquaventure Waterpark, with world record breaking rides and the underwater world of The Lost Chambers Aquarium, where you can view 65,000 marine animals.

The Imperial Club at Atlantis has been designed to be a resort-within-a-resort and offers guests a range of exclusive privileges, including complimentary wireless internet access, complimentary breakfast at the lounge, Saffron or Kaleidoscope restaurants and special preferential rates for the spa and recreational facilities. Located on the twelfth floor, the Club Lounge, with its stunning views across Palm Island, offers a luxurious environment in which to work or relax and complimentary drinks and snacks are available throughout the day.
