Description

Part of the legendary Belmond collection (formerly Orient Express), Belmond Royal Scotsman carries thirty-six passengers on two to seven-night journeys through Scottish Highland landscapes of towering mountains, green glens, pine forests, shimmering lochs and unspoilt coastline. However, ‘The Grand Tour of Great Britain’ itinerary also visits England and North Wales. Guests will enjoy indulging with fine food and beverages, including Champagne, while sightseeing excursions and activities (that vary depending on what itinerary is chosen), may include trips to historic houses and castles, whiskey-tasting at a distillery, ferry trips to Scottish islands, woodland walks and visits to gardens, to bring the places en route to life. The train carriages include an Observation Car, which is perfect for relaxing and the views can be enjoyed inside from the comfort of an armchair, or outside from the open veranda. There are also two Dining Cars, a Service Car and State Cars where the guest cabins are located. And, when it comes to resting your head, the train is stationary at night to ensure guests get a good night's sleep.
