Khao Lak
The Similan Islands National Park is a magical diving spot, home to a huge variety of marine life with incredible opportunities to see rare and endangered species.
Khao Sok National Park is covered by the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world. Here, you'll find huge limestone mountains, deep valleys, breathtaking lakes, exciting caves and wild animals, including gibbons, tapirs and tigers.

Perched in an open field nearly 1km from shore, Police patrol boat number 813 was hurled to its current location by the powerful 2004 Boxing Day tsunami. A decade later, it remains a prominent reminder of the disaster.

Phang Nga
Visit James Bond Island, called Koh Ta-pu (Nail Island), its limestone pinnacle conspicuously rises 65 feet above the water and featured as the hideaway of the evil Scaramanga in the 1974 James Bond movie "The Man with the Golden Gun".

Explore Phang Nga’s sea caves and their interior lagoons (hong) by sea canoe. These collapsed cave systems, open to the sky and surrounded by towering limestone walls are home to hidden realms, rich with fauna and flora. Protected from both the Northeast and the Southwest monsoon seasons, the waters remain calm year-round and sea canoes allow you to get right to the heart of them.

The hill-top temple, Wat Bang Rieng, is located between Phang Nga Town and Krabi. Surrounded by lush tropical forest, this temple complex features most notably, a large bell-shaped chedi, surrounded by niches filled with relics of Buddha and a large statue of Buddha in a seated position under the seven headed serpent Naga facing a statue of Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion.
