Perched in an open field nearly 1km from shore, Police patrol boat number 813 was hurled to its current location by the powerful 2004 Boxing Day tsunami. A decade later, it remains a prominent reminder of the disaster.

These collapsed cave systems, open to the sky and surrounded by towering limestone walls are home to hidden realms, rich with fauna and flora. Protected from both the Northeast and the Southwest monsoon seasons, the waters remain calm year-round and sea canoes allow you to get right to the heart of them.
The hill-top temple, Wat Bang Rieng, is located between Phang Nga Town and Krabi. Surrounded by lush tropical forest, this temple complex features most notably, a large bell-shaped chedi, surrounded by niches filled with relics of Buddha and a large statue of Buddha in a seated position under the seven headed serpent Naga facing a statue of Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion.
