Oceania Cruises

Oceania Cruises

Oceania Cruises

Founded in 2003 by two industry veterans and the former heads of Renaissance and Crystal Cruises, Miami-based Oceania Cruises currently comprises four vessels. Nautica and Regatta are identical ships, weighing in at 30,277 tons, with four-hundred staff looking after and entertaining 684 guests, while Oceania's new 'O' class ships, Marina (launched in 2011) and Riviera (launched in 2012) set even higher standards in luxury cruising, with more spacious accommodation, more speciality dining venues (with no cover charges) and two new private dining venues. Additionally, the newest ships offer gourmet, hands-on cookery classes, with an excellent range of themes, fine art classes and the use of iPads for guests staying in Owner's, Vista and Oceania Suites.

Oceania Cruises offers an exceptional value-for-money, deluxe cruising experience, with an eclectic mix of the traditional and the contemporary - plus a touch of whimsy - defining the on-board experience. Vessels are small enough to sail where others cannot, yet large enough to ensure all modern conveniences are available. Decks are resplendent in teak, a grand sweeping staircase harks back to the glory days of classical cruising, while lounges, suites and staterooms all boast handsome Neo Classical furnishings. The ships enjoy an atmosphere much like that of a private country club and the smaller size encourages guests to mingle - an ambience that many single cruisers find particularly attractive.
The line’s longer, destination-focused itineraries have been tailored to include many overnight port stays, allowing passengers time to immerse themselves in the history, culture and local flavour of the destinations.

Fleet Facilities

Food & Beverage+

Oceania Cruises features two speciality restaurants, Toscana and the Polo Grill, and on the 'O' class, Red Ginger and Jacques. At Toscana, a menu of distinctive olive oil and Balsamic vinegars is offered alongside authentic Tuscan dishes hailed for their simplicity and keenly balanced flavours. Fine wines are presented by Sommeliers who can instinctively recommend the right wine for your meal.

The intimate Polo Grill embodies the timeless charm of the finest American steakhouses, with signature dishes including twenty-eight-day, dry-aged prime cuts of beef, Colorado Lamb and a Maine Lobster sauce from Oceania Cruises' private distributor.

The Grand Dining Room offers majestic dining, with Frette linen, bone china, hand-painted frescoes adorning a domed ceiling and French-inspired cuisine. The first restaurant on land or sea to carry the name of Masterchef, Jacques Pepin - Head Chef for no fewer than three heads of state - is the handsomely decorated, Jacques, which offers diners Provencale French cuisine and ingeniously recreated classics. Red Ginger's visual impact belies the interiors and gustatory pleasures that lie within. Ebony wood and eclectic Asian artworks set the mood, while striking menus, filled with groundbreaking Asian Fusion dishes, will surpass the highest of expectations.

Each evening, the al fresco dining area of the Terrace Cafe becomes 'Tapas on the Terrace', with a sumptuous buffet of authentic tapas, paella and other Spanish specialities, as well as a choice of international dishes, including sushi and a selection of dishes from other restaurants’ menus.

A variety of bars and lounges offer convivial venues for relaxation and conversation. Martinis serves numerous incarnations of the eponymous cocktail, while rare vintages can be enjoyed in the Grand Bar and new-found friends can be made in Horizons, an observation lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping vistas.

Health & Fitness+

Indulge yourself at the award-winning Canyon Ranch SpaClub®, which includes a range of massage, body and skincare treatments, acupuncture, holistic therapies and a full-service beauty salon. Facilities at the fitness centre include a running track, large heated pool, three whirlpool spas and a golf simulator.

Relaxation & Education+

Wine-tasting, dancing, arts and crafts lessons, guest speakers and culinary demonstrations all make an Oceania cruise more memorable and enriching, whilst curling up in the English-inspired library - with over one-thousand volumes to choose from - is a rare treat. Attend an insightful lecture on an upcoming port, express your creativity during a painting class at the Artist Loft or learn to prepare classic dishes in the Bon Appetit Culinary Centre.

Music & Entertainment+

Each evening, the ship is filled with music performed by, reputedly, one of the finest orchestras at sea. Attend a live classical concert under the stars or enjoy magicians, comedians and other headline acts. Dance the night away in Horizons lounge, shimmy on the dance floor at the nightclub, take in a film or two from over three-hundred current and classic movies housed in the library or test 'lady luck' at the casino.

There is an on-board boutique offering a range of luxury goods.

Young Cruisers+

There are no facilities on board for children.

Shore Excursions+

Oceania Cruises offers an award-winning programme of shore excursions that explore the historical, cultural and artistic gems of each destination.
