Jaipur, also known as the 'Pink City’ because of a law stating that all buildings in the old city must be pink, encapsulates the colour and vibrancy of the entire Rajasthan region. A regal city, it has an age-old charm that intrigues travellers. The streets are jam-packed with cars, rickshaws and motorcycles, interrupted by the occasional sacred cow, and you can easily while away time shopping at local markets which are a feast for the senses.

Udaipur is a romantic city, also referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’ because of its intertwining canals and spectacular lakes including Lake Pichola. There are also majestic palaces which are set against a backdrop of the surrounding Aravalli Hills. Attractions include the fairytale-style City Palace complex and museum.
Also known as the ‘sun city’ due to its pleasant year-round sunny weather, Jodhpur is situated at the edge of the Thar Desert and was once the citadel of the ancient Malwar kingdom. Here beautiful palaces echo the splendour of days gone by.

Health facilities, hygiene and disease risks vary worldwide and you should take health advice about your specific needs as early as possible. We highly recommend that you seek specialist advice from your Doctor and, where recommended, obtain vaccinations or tablets for protection against, for example: Malaria, Hepatitis A, Polio and Typhoid. In some cases, treatments for Malaria should begin well in advance of travel. Please note that you are strongly advised against scuba-diving for 24 hours before travelling by air.
