Children from 10 years of age are welcome, and special activities are available including: board games, wildlife shows, cooking and baking with the chefs, visits to local community schools when classes are in session and a chance to partake in the Mini Rangers’ Course which includes: tracking animals; frogging; butterfly capture and release; a cosmic safari (astronomy); learning bush survival techniques; flower-pressing; game-spotting competitions; nature quizzes and a Ranger’s Test. In recognition of their achievements, certificates are distributed to the young participants upon completion of the course.
For safety reasons participation in safari activities will be at the discretion of the Guide.

There are twice-daily game-drives with professional Guides and Trackers, who are knowledgeable, interesting and experienced and can assist with helping guests to take great photographs. Additionally, there are swimming pools at both lodges and mountain-biking, archery and safari walks can be arranged.
