This luxury five star resort, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, stands proudly in 850 acres of Perthshire countryside and boasts three of the top Scottish championship golf courses, alongside a range of outdoor leisure activities. Described as a 'Riviera in the Highlands', the château-style hotel is as popular now as it was when it first opened in 1924. Sleekly designed guest rooms feature polished chrome and wood furnishings and contemporary fabrics in deep reds and bitter chocolates, offset by a neutral background. Dubbed the Eighth Wonder of the World by its followers, in addition to the renowned golf courses, which have hosted many competitions, the hotel offers guests four restaurants, one of which, Andrew Fairlie's, has two Michelin stars, a destination spa featuring treatments by ESPA and family-friendly facilities that include falconry and golf.

In addition to the courses, there's a PGA Golf Academy.

King's Course
With a design clearly influenced by James Braid, this 18-hole, par 68, heathland course exudes quality. Having previously hosted eight Scottish Opens it offers golfers a serious test of ability, with subtle changes in green and tee elevation and round-threatening bunkers placed throughout.

PGA Centenary Course
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this 18-hole, par 73, heathland course, presents one of the longest courses in inland Scotland from the back tees. The course annually hosts the Jonnie Walker Classic and will be the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup.

The Queen's Course
This 18-hole, par 68, parkland course has tested some of the greats themselves. The woodland setting mixed with moorland alongside frequent water hazards presents an enjoyable course to suit all levels.

The Par 3 Wee Course
This 9-hole, par 27, parkland course dates back to 1928, and offers a fun alternative to a day on the golf courses or an ideal warm up before the main game.

Health & Fitness

This was the first ESPA branded spa in the UK, and every aspect of it has been designed to enhance your experience. In addition to the range of natural facials, body treatments and massages all featuring the signature ESPA holistic approach, treat yourself to one of the ESPA 'rituals' administered by fully trained staff, these packages of treatments are designed specifically for you. In addition there are heat and ice facilities, a relaxation area, a twenty metre swimming pool, outdoor hot pool and gym.
