There are fourteen single cabins and eighty-seven double cabins on-board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, all of which have a washbaisn, hot and cold water, towels, bathrobes and slippers, and a deluxe range of toiletries. Cabins offer a banquette sofa for seating during the day, that converts to one upper and one lower bed at night.
Guests requiring extra comfort and space can book a Cabin Suite which consists of two inter-connecting Double Cabins.
Within three separate carriages, expert French chefs prepare timeless classics, modern French dishes and 1920's-style afternoon teas comprising delicate custard slices, cakes and sandwiches. At night, dine on Champagne risotto at a table laden with crisp linens, silver and glass wear before waking to a brunch of smoked salmon crumpets complete with a glass of Bellini.
The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express has always been a very special experience and a journey that fans of rail travel rank highly. Each voyage recaptures the bygone age of luxury rail travel with the emphasis on service, scenery and leisure facilities. The Train Manager will make it his personal priority to meet his passengers, while immaculately presented Stewards install a warmth and charm unique to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.
